The Boardman Park & Recreation District is seeking a dedicated local resident to fill a vacancy on its 5-member elected Board of Directors. This is a fantastic opportunity to help guide the future of our local recreation facilities, park, and seasonal events.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Role: Member Board of Directors (Volunteer / Public Service)
• Term: Appointment to fill an unexpired term that ends June 2027.
•   Mission: Enriching our community by fostering safe and enjoyable recreational experiences within well-maintained parks and facilities.

WHAT WE DO

As a board member, you will oversee the finances and policies of the District which include:

• The Boardman Pool & Recreation Center
• The Day Use Park, the Boardman Marina RV Park, the District’s part of the Heritage Trail and the Disc Golf Course.
• District Transparency and Strategic Planning

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a registered voter.
• Must reside within the Boardman Park & Recreation District boundaries.
• Must have a passion for community leadership, recreation, and public service.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
