PUBLIC NOTICE

August 22nd,                                 

Boardman Park & Recreation District Board of Directors will hold their special board meeting with an executive session Tuesday August 26th, 2025, at 6:00PM. This board meeting is OPEN to the public and will be available in person and via Zoom. Following the public provision, the board will enter an Executive Session, which will be closed to the public. 

The purpose for the executive session is pursuant to

·        ORS 192.660 (2)(E)-To conduct deliberations with people designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions

ORS 192.660. (2)(A) to consider the employment of a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent.

 ORS 192.660(2)(b): To consider the dismissal or discipline of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against, a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent who does not request an open hearing.

Time is set aside for people wishing to address the Board on matters not on the regular meeting agenda. Speakers will be limited to three minutes, unless extended by the Board Chair. If written material is included, 7 copies of all information to be distributed to the Board should be given to the Secretary or CEO prior to the meeting. Action may or may not be taken at this meeting on citizen comments. The Board, however, after hearing from interested citizens, may place items under new business on a future agenda so proper notice may be given to all interested parties. If no one wishes to comment, the next agenda item will be considered.
